The Cedar Rapids area has always been home for me. I attended La Salle High School (Xavier, for those that were not around in the 90's), then studied Marketing and Management at Kirkwood Community College, and finished at the University of Mount Mercy. My husband and I purchased our first home in Cedar Rapids, but quickly fell in love with small town Marion and in 2009, and moved to raise our family in this community. We have two girls, Darby and Tamzin, as well as three Old English Bulldogs, Mozie, Mera and Nelson. My girls are active in the Linn Mar Schools, and are always on the go. I enjoy volunteering with Junior Achievement, and Habitat for Humanity. I have a strong passion for traveling and learning about how people in different parts of the world live. I enjoy a good crime series on Netflix, watching college basketball, and refurnishing old furniture!
